Meet the Cast of Little Women

Ashley Reed (Amy March)

Callie Ray (Chris/Inspector) is positively chuffed to join 413 Rep's production of The Play That Goes Wrong as Sandra/Florence. A proud Escondido resident, Callie has been a professional voice actor for over a decade, with credits including Smite (video game), the Polestar EV campaign, and voicing an on-ride segment at Legoland UK. She recently completed a two year program at MCIT studying the Meisner and Chekhov techniques with San Diego's Lisa Berger and Liz Shipman, and is thrilled to put her training to good use! She studied Film and Theatre at the University of Miami, and, before becoming a voice actor,  worked in audio post-production at Warner Bros studios. Callie would like to thank her husband for supporting her, her daughter for inspiring her, and 413 Rep for the opportunity to play in this delightful show!

Abigail Rees (Josephine March)

Abigail Rees (Jo March) is a Boston-based actor thrilled to be making her San Diego theater debut in Little Women. Previous credits include The Importance of Being Ernest at Apollinaire Theater Company (Gwendolyn Fairfax; awarded Best Ensemble by the Boston Theater Critic’s Association), X and King of Shadows at Flat Earth Theatre, As You Like It (Rosalind), Amadeus (Constanze), and An Inspector Calls(Sheila). She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Gordon College, and a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She would like to thank her husband Schaeffer for his constant love and support.

Shane Murphy (Meg March)

Shane is honored to bring the role of Meg March to life in Little Women. Trained in classical theatre with a deep love for Shakespeare, Shane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of San Diego and studied abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where she honed her craft in Shakespearean performance. She is passionate about storytelling that explores the resilience of women and the bonds of family. This performance is dedicated to her own “little woman and man” at home.

Emmanuelle Love (Beth March)

 

 

Emmanuelle Love is thrilled to be in her first show with 413! A San Diego local, She graduated
from Cal State LA with a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts (Performance Option), and her
credits there include Urinetown (Little Becky Two-Shoes) and Hamlet (Horatio, Guildenstern,
Marcellus). She was also the stage manager for the children’s opera Lucinda y Las Flores de la
Nochebuena. Her hobbies include playing piano, baking, and sewing (maybe don't ask her
about the dinosaurs. She will show you photos). She currently works as a performer at both
Sesame Place and Legoland. She is absolutely honored to be playing Beth because she was
her favorite March Sister growing up. She saw so much of herself in Beth, and getting to bring
her to life is a dream come true.

Dawne Ellison  (Aunt Josephine)

Dawne Ellison is happy to again be a part of a 413 Repertory Theater production. Her training has been in theater playing character roles. She enjoys comedy and classical drama as well. Recently, Dawne has started doing more film and won a Best Supporting Actor for her role in "Absence of God Speaking" as well as appearing as Pearl in "Pearl in the Window", a Best film in The Women’s San Francisco Film Festival.

Christopher Para (Theodore Lawrence)

Theater has always been a part of Chris' life in some shape or form. Over the past few
years, he has had the privilege of participating in a few musical productions that have
greatly enriched his artistic journey. His most recent show was “9-5, The Musical.” and “Annie,” Additionally, Chris' experience extends into film, where he recently worked on the short films “Summertime” and
& Dreams and gaining valuable insights into the nuances of on-screen acting and the
importance of visual storytelling. These experiences have not only solidified his passion for the performing arts but have also equipped me with diverse skills that he hopes to continue utilizing in future projects. He looks forward to being a part of the 413 theater group!

Matthew Rechen (John Brooke)

Matthew Rechen is a San Diego based actor that is very excited to be tackling the role of Mr. John Brook! His recent credits include Jim Haller - All Shook Up (Ritz Theater Company) Frederic - Pirates Of Penzance (JPCU Theater) Jack - The Importance Of Being Earnest (JPCU Theater) and many other plays and musicals. He hopes tat you all will enjoy this wonderful production of Little Women!

Carol Collins (Hannah)

Ryan Shimell is a versatile and talented 20-year-old actor currently captivating audiences in the uproarious production of The Play Goes Wrong. Since he first stepped onto the stage in 2018, Ryan has quickly distinguished himself as a rising star in the entertainment industry. In addition to his acting skills, Ryan is also an accomplished drag queen, makeup artist, and hair stylist, bringing a unique and dynamic approach to his craft. When he's not dazzling audiences on stage or transforming into mesmerizing characters, Ryan also works as a Realtor, showcasing his commitment to excellence and hard work in all facets of his career. With a passion for storytelling and a dedication to his craft, Ryan Shimell is a talent to watch in the world of performing arts.
